Conflict resolution skills is the current number 1 request for our workshops.
So we have decided to develop a completely new scenario focused on conflict at work, for our team to showcase, which reflects some of the challenges that many of you will be dealing with right now.
Here’s a little taster from the back-story:
The department is going through a restructure – as part of the firms ‘business efficiency savings’. This is due in part, to the imminent increase in NI costs, but also because the business underperformed against its targets last year.
Manager Reena, held a dept wide meeting last week to answer questions, but 3 members of her team were not able to attend, so she has arranged a catch-up call with them on Teams. Reena is late for the meeting, and her reports are discussing who is likely to be at risk. Their discussion quickly moves to open conflict between them.
It’s going to be a brilliant session and importantly provide some essential tips for managers going through this at the moment.
